Personal Data in the Application Process
Personal data means any information relating to the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, address, telephone number, and date of birth, as well as details regarding your professional background and career history that can reasonably be attributed to a specific person.Information that cannot be directly or indirectly linked to your actual identity is not considered personal data.
Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing Personal Data in Applications and the Recruitment Process
If you apply to us electronically, either by email or through our web form, we collect and process your personal data for the purpose of handling the application process and carrying out pre-contractual measures.By submitting an application via our recruiting page, you express your interest in employment with our company. In this context, you provide us with personal data, which we use and store exclusively for your job search and application.
In particular, the following data may be collected:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- LinkedIn profile (optional)
- Information about how you became aware of our company
Only authorized employees in the Human Resources department and employees involved in the recruitment process have access to your data.
Your personal data will generally be stored solely for the purpose of filling the position for which you have applied.
Your data will be retained for a period of 90 days after the conclusion of the recruitment process. This is generally done to comply with legal obligations or to defend against potential claims arising from statutory provisions.
After this period, we are obligated to delete or anonymize your data. In such cases, the data will only remain available as metadata without direct personal reference for statistical evaluations (e.g., the proportion of female and male applicants, number of applications received during a specific period, etc.).
Furthermore, we reserve the right to store your data in our "Talent Pool" for 365 days after the completion of the recruitment process in order to identify other potentially suitable positions for you. This also applies, for example, to applications for apprenticeships or internships.
By accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to the extended storage of your data and its inclusion in our Talent Pool.
If you receive and accept an offer of employment from us during the recruitment process, we will retain the personal data collected during the application process for at least the duration of your employment relationship.
Transfer of Data to Third Parties
The data submitted as part of your application is transmitted using TLS encryption and stored in a database.This database is operated by Personio GmbH, a provider of HR management and applicant tracking software (https://www.personio.de/impressum/).
In this context, Personio acts as our data processor pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. The processing is based on a Data Processing Agreement concluded between us, as the data controller, and Personio.

Where we process personal data as the data controller, you, as the data subject, are entitled—depending on the legal basis and purpose of processing—to certain rights under Chapter III of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including in particular:- Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)
